Let us pray

Thank you, Lord Jesus for this new day and for the mercies which are new every morning.  Thank you, for Your Word.  We praise You for Your precepts which guide our steps.  We praise You for the discipline of Your laws and the guidance of Your hand.  Thank You for being our refuge and our shield.  Oh, how we magnify Your name today. May our praises be a fragrant offering to You, Lord Jesus.  You are worthy.  You are mighty to save.  Thank you, Jesus.

Father God, we pray we would commit to the reading of Your Word.  Help us to desire to gain understanding and to stand firm in our faith.  Forgive us where we have put our own thoughts and desires ahead of Your statutes.  Forgive us for putting faith in our own ways, pursuing our own glory instead of Yours.  Forgive us for straying away from Your commands. Uproot anything that is not of You and may we seek You with all our hearts for You are our portion forever.

Lord Jesus, Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.  Guide us today and make us holy, we pray.  Raise us up, Father, that we would serve You in all our ways.  Move in the hearts of our leadership and wash over this land with a mighty wave of repentance.  Reveal Your truth in our churches and bring revival in Your people.  We claim a new work in our hearts today and victory through our Savior.  Break strongholds, Father God and draw our families to the Cross.  Heal the brokenness in minds and restore health to our bones.  Thank you, Lord Jesus.

Give us glimpse of Your glory and may it change us, Father.  Do a mighty work. Fill us with wisdom and understanding and the blessed assurance of who we are in Christ Jesus.  There is no power apart from the mighty name of our Messiah.  We call upon You today!  O’ Lord God, rend the heavens and come down.  Settle the earthquakes of distraction that keep us from spending time in Your presence.  Calm the stormy winds and draw us to Your side.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Soon Coming King, we pray

Scripture

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:6-8

Quote

The longer you delay, the more your sin gets strength and rooting.  If you cannot bend a twig, how will you be able to bend it when it’s a tree?  ~Richard Baxter

Let us know if the Lord laid something on your heart while praying or if you have a prayer request. I will be praying for you!
